Traveling to Europe?

ETIAS is Scheduled to Launch in Late 2026,

requiring citizens from over 60 visa-exempt countries (including the U.S., UK, Canada, and Australia) to obtain electronic authorization before traveling to 30 European countries. The fully online application will cost approximately €20 (with exceptions) and is linked to the new EES biometric border system.

As of now, U.S. citizens visiting the E.U. (Schengen Area) for up to 90 days within 180 days do not currently need a visa, but must have a passport valid for at least 3 months beyond their planned departure.
