Arrival:
Jorge Chávez International Airport- Lima, Peru (LAP)
We highly recommend that you arrive by 3pm to check into your accomodation and to make it in time for the welcome meet and greet dinner. However, don’t worry if your flight is delayed we will pick you top any time today. The transfer will take you from the airport to our group accommodation in Lima. If fellow travelers arrive around the same time, we’ll bring you to the property together.

Jorge Chávez International Airport- Lima, Peru (LAP)
Final day in our week Journey is entirely open for you. Hotel check out is at 10am. You are welcome to leave any time today. We will assist with your hotel to airport transfer unless you decide to extend your trip.

FREE entry into Peru for U.S citizens. Visitors must have at least six months validity at time of entry on Passport. You’ll also need one blank passport page available for entry/exit stamp.

We suggest no more than 1-piece luggage and 1-carry piece, reason is we want you to be as comfortable as possible throughout your journey. We’ll be utilizing a combination of transportation throughout the trip- railway, in-country flights and car apart from your arrival and departure flights.
Remember you’ll be responsible for carrying what you bring, so keep it simple.

If we have not received payment by the due date, we reserve the right to charge the credit card we have on file for the owed amount. If payment fails, we shall be entitled in our discretion to treat the missed payment as a breach of contract, cancel your reservation, and impose the cancellation fees specified in this agreement. We also retain the right to assign your spot to the next eligible traveler on the Waitlist without any refund to you.

Days 1 -2 | Lima

Explore the coastline of Peru with activities such as paragliding over the cliffs of Lima or surfing the waves in Mancora. Day 3 | Huacachina Desert
On the third day of our trip, we will go to the Huacachina desert. Ride a buggy over the endless sand dunes to reach the oasis. The excitement of navigating the golden hills will lift your spirits, with the sun creating beautiful shadows across the landscape.
Days 4 - 6 | Cusco
Begin your journey in the Sacred Valley, where the ancient ruins of Ollantaytambo reveal the architectural brilliance of the Inca civilization. Here, you can partake in exhilarating hikes that connect you with the surroundings and provide a glimpse into local traditions. The valley is dotted with charming villages, where you can interact with artisans and discover the art of textile weaving, an integral part of Andean culture.
Day 7-8 | Machu Picchu + Puno
Explore the lost city of the Incas
No experience in Peru is complete without a trek to Machu Picchu, the iconic citadel that stands as the pinnacle of Inca civilization. Choose from various trekking routes, such as the Inca Trail or the less-trodden Salkantay trek, each offering breathtaking vistas and opportunities for reflection along the way. As you ascend, the landscape transforms, giving you a sense of the geographical diversity that defines the country.
Day 9 | Puno
Start the day with a peaceful motorboat tour of the vast lake, smoothly navigating the clear waters to the beautiful Uros Islands. These floating islands look like they came from a magical movie, built from many layers of totora reeds collected from the lake. The Uros people originally made them to escape from the Incas centuries ago. The islands are full of lively heritage and modern life. Once there, you can interact with the Uros community and see how they mix tradition with today’s lifestyle.
Day 10 | Departure- Lima
With no activities planned for today, you’re free to leave after breakfast. Should you wish to extend your stay in the enchanting city of Lima, please consult your travel leader. They will gladly assist you in crafting a personalized itinerary that allows you to delve deeper into the rich cultural tapestry and culinary delights of this vibrant destination.
